Story of Zero : "The Nothing That Is ; A Natural History of Zero"

What is the greatest invention in math and science?. if you answer Pythagoras quotation or the discovery of phi, well actually it's a great invention to. But the greatest Math Invention were the invention of zero. Well this thought actually came from a Hanz Magnuz Enzenberger book " The Number devil". in that book he discovers a math from a different perspective. He discovers that a math just like a chaos theory. Math is not just a rigid or neat science. Invention of zero has changed math dramatically. Roman are one of the nations that doesn't have a zero in their math. They figure number with symbol from X for 10, M for 1000, and C for 100. They don't have a zero concept that makes every equation roman try to build is agony and knotty. Zero change everything, you could build an equation easier.

This Concept getting clearer after I found Robert Kaplan book "The Nothing That Is ; A Natural History of Zero". I have read a chapter of this book, it's really amaze how a something that looks doesn't matter became a matter in this book. This book is really discover zero from every side.Wow...
